Betsy Malkus nee Ruben, almost 102; beloved wife of the late Samuel S. Malkus; loving mother of Alan (Joy) and Stephen (Arlene); cherished grandma of Rabbi Mitchel (Caryn), Leland (Wendy) and David; proud BB of Eitan, Coby, Yaniv and Amitai; dear aunt and great aunt of many. Graveside service Tuesday, 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moriah Congregation or Hadassah Medical Center. Aunt Betsy was such an important person in my life. I have very vivid childhood memories of her in Chicago and Spokane. I loved being with her, listening to her stories, and seeing the love and devotion between her and all of her family members. She was like a sister to my mother, and I always admired and valued their meaningful relationship.

Her life was a blessing, as is her memory.
