Roberta L. Karlman, MD, age 59, beloved wife and best friend of Rick Schoenfield for 24 wonderful years. Dearest sister in law of Mark and Barbara Schoenfield and loving aunt of Laura (Kevin Lane) Schoenfield and Jeff Schoenfield. Proud great aunt of Spencer Lane. Chapel service today Saturday at 1:30PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Randhill Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cheetah Conservation Fund at cheetah.org or to the charity of your choice. I just found out about Dr. Karlman’s passing. I am deeply and very personally saddened by the news. She was my doctor and an extremely knowledgable one at that. She will be missed greatly by myself and the world has lost a great soul. May she be given a beautiful place in heaven by the almighty. I miss you Dr. Karlman :(. Thank you for everything you did for me.
