To the entire Neubauer family:
Only yesterday did I learn of David’s passing. What a shock. My heartfelt sympathies to you all. David’s father was my father’s very first accountant back in the mid-1950’s after Frank had graduated from accounting school. My father owned an automobile agency in Evanston and he was one of Frank’s very first clients. While Frank was the one who almost always prepared our tax returns, we did have many wonderful moments shared with David. David attended my mother’s memorial service back in 2002 and it was a photo from that service appearing on my computer screen the other night that prompted me to inquire of David while having my tax returns prepared yesterday by James Flannery (a former associates in Frank’s office)). Again, my prayers are with you all; I still struggle with my mom’s loss almost 12 years ago.

Dear Bonnie and Family,
I just recently found out about Bear. I’m so sorry I didn’t attend the funeral. You two were the first couple I was introduced to at the Temple in 1974. Wow, it has been a long time. I always came to the two of you when I needed explanations on any Yiddish that I was unfamiliar with.
We had years of laughs doing taxes. Bear had such a great sense of humor….you never knew what he would come up with next. I was so happy that Bear had a great outlook in March and he had great plans for the summer.
I will be in touch with you soon.

Bonnie, so very sorry for your loss.
The last reunion I was at- you and I talked and it truly showed how much you love your husband and how happy you were together. My heart goes out to you and your family.
