Obituary
Eleanor Loevy, nee Rubin, born April 18, 1916, died peacefully in her sleep August 14, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Milton. Loving mother of Roger (Beverly), Steven (Sara Segal), and the late Laurel Ann. Proud grandmother of Daniel (Kimberly) Loevy, Tyler (Derek) Young , and Nathaniel (Amy Katz) Loevy. Adoring great-grandmother of Emily Loevy and Rena Rose Young. Preceded in death by her parents Eva and Samuel Rubin, sister Lillian (the late Meyer) Koransky and brother Harold (the late Bess) Rubin. Fond aunt and friend of many. Devoted to Jane Rogels and her other loving caregivers. Chapel service Friday at 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Selfhelp Home, 908 West Argyle, Chicago, IL 60640.
