Obituary

Abner Jerome Brown passed away peacefully Tuesday March 26 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Jacqueline Rose Brown. Loving father to Alan and Sue Wolan, Steven and Linda Wolan and Lauren and Rick Zak. Proud grandfather of 6, great grandfather of 2 and dearest uncle to many nieces and nephews. Abner was born June 21, 1920 to the late Joseph and Bessie Brown. He was the youngest of 9 children. He proudly served his country in WW II. Abner loved family, good wine and Da Bears. He will be missed by many. Synogogue service Friday March 29, at 1:00 PM at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Road in Glencoe. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
