Alice was a dear, dear friend of the Simonavicius, Simonaitis, and Simon Families. She was a warm and loving person. The thoughts and prayers of our family are with the Klenn family.

When I was about 8 or 9 years old, Aunt Alice invited my older sister Julie and I to spend a few days with her and Uncle Chuck. She took us shopping and to a fancy beauty salon on Michigan Ave. She bought us both a new outfit ( and as the 4th sister, I rarely had anything to wear that wasn’t a hand me down). I got a maroon jumper and a pink blouse, and Julie got her first pair of bell bottoms. It was the first time someone other than my mother cut my hair. It was then that I fell in love with my Aunt Alice. She had more class in her baby finger than most of us have in our whole bodies. Her kindness, moral support and generosity meant so much to me. I love you so much “My Darling” and will miss your wonderful sense of humor and sparkling eyes.
