Rachel Birnbaum, a Holocaust survivor, age 87, beloved wife and best friend of the late Alfred for 66 years. Cherished mother of Robert Birnbaum and Faye (Richard) Rosenberg. Proud and loving Bubbe of Samantha (Matthew) Sears, Abigail (Michael) Eisenberg , Whitney Rosenberg and Cuba Birnbaum. Chapel service Wednesday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
