Richard M. Lettvin, 66; beloved husband of Cheryl, nee Clark; loving father of Martin, Jennifer and the late Jessica; devoted son of the late Jerome and Adele; dear brother of Howard (Wendy) Lettvin and Barbara Lettvin (Henri Laznowski); uncle, cousin and friend of many. Graveside service Tuesday 3 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Richard was a man I respected. I greatly appreciated his mutual respect, his friendship and consider myself better for having known him. He was a no nonsense kind of person and one always knew what he thought and I loved that about him. We had some good laughs about the craziness of our business as well as the irony of many things in this life.
