He was a Viet Nam hero too but he rarely acknowledged this.

I don’t know that I’ve ever known a more kind soul than Chuck. We felt blessed that Quest Academy brought our families together. The pure love that Chuck showed for others will always live in our hearts as an example of the best that humans can be and as an inspiration. We truly loved Chuck and will keep his memory alive in our hearts forever. We send our love and prayers to Shirley, Erin and family.
