Dr. Philip Jaffe, 85, beloved husband of the late Mary, nee Abend; loving father of Kabir (Ritama), Dr. Ibrahim (Laila) and Steven (Cheryl); cherished grandfather of Rabia, Sam, Asiya, Anisa, Maryam Zulaikha , Rachel and Luke; dear brother of the late Jane Arieti Deutsch and Annabelle Petrucelly; brother-in-law of Joshua Abend; treasured uncle of Jeff (Pat) Petrucelly, David (Maggie) Arieti, Jimmy (Barbara) Arieti, Les (Carol) Abend and Tema Abend. Chapel service Wednesday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
