Berenice Schlocker, 95, nee Cahn, passed away peacefully August 29, 2013. Beloved mother of Marcy (Dr. Leonard) Klayman and Cathy Nierenberg. Devoted former wife of Samuel L. Schlocker. Loving daughter of the late Frank and Anna Cahn; adoring sister of the late Robert (the late Marge) Cahn; dear friend of Jori Klayman, Stefani Klayman (Fiance Nathan Hubert) and Alissa (Matthew) Paulson; fond sister in law of the late Dr. Lawrence (the late Rose) Schlocker; cherished aunt and great-aunt of Claire (the late Austin) Goldberg, Judy (the late Jerry) Schlocker, Janice Kellman, Andrea Levin, Melissa (Paul) Cormack, Michelle (Jeffrey) Dorfman, Lindsey (Matthew) Gruenberg, Mitchell Kellman, Jaycee Levin and Jacob Dorfman. Berenice retired after teaching many years in Skokie School District 68. Wonderful cousin, friend, neighbor and colleague of many.
