Harold was a great man and is missed by many. I will miss the visits with Harold to Skokie… I wish I did it more often. I will never forget when Harold drove me to my Fathers burial plot in Arlington Heights. Let me say, it was a real adventure and Harold loved to drive. Our discussions about finance, shortwave radio’s, computers, fitness and food were numerous. You set the example for what a family man is and should aspire to be.

Harold, although my first cousin, was a whole generation older than I. He was an educated, kind, and intelligent man, who was always ‘there’ for his late wife, Rose, his children and his grandchildren. He was the kind of man whom we do not see much of these days. He will be sorely missed. Oh, and yes, he was into email and computers. His computer took a prominent place in his living room. Goodbye to a very good man.

We were first cousins even though a generation apart in age. I was so impressed during my last visit to Harold’s home a few years ago, that he was active on the Internet starting in his 80’s! No ‘digital divide’ for him.
