Toby Wilson, nee Gladstone, 88, beloved wife of the late William; loving mother of John, Marty (Judy), Andrea “Susie”, David (Jean) and Gayle Rose Shparago (Bob Epstein); cherished grandma of Marc (Erika), Marie, Brian and Amy and devoted Nana of Melissa and Stephanie; adored great grandmother of Max; dear sister, cousin, aunt and friend. Chapel service Monday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Toby was the sweetest, dearest and truest friend. She was a lady in every respect—always did the right thing in every situation. I will miss her. I am sorry I cannot be with the family now. I hope you cherish your mother’s memory. I know she loved and was proud of all of you. Please accept my condolences.
We shared so many interests and activities: Hadassah, Johanna, bridge games, many book discussion groups, to name a few. She was full of compassion, integrity and intelligence.

Mrs. Wilson was exceptionally kind to me and to my family, even though I just worked for her son, David. She was a wonderful woman, and will be missed. Our deepest condolences.
