Trudy Coplan Weisman, age 81, beloved wife of the late Joseph. Cherished mother of Linda (Mark) Levine and Carol (Joel) Babbitt. Proud and loving Grandma Trudy of Craig, Jared, Judd, Seth and Eyllah. Beloved partner of Al Bachalar. Dearest stepmother of Bruce (Linda) Weisman, Morris Weisman and Rena Weisman and step grandmother of Stacy (Brett) Boisvert. Dearest sister of Sylvia Lawrence, Al (Birdie) Fine and Paul (Doris) Fine. Trudy was a respected medical social worker for over 50 years who dedicated her life to helping others. Chapel service Sunday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Following the service, the family will be receiving friends and family at the Babbitt residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
