Betty Jane Nathanson “BJ”, age 85, cherished mother of Steve (Lisa), Brian (Mari) and Karen Nathanson. Proud and loving grandma of Adam, Marissa, Michael, Nicole and Amanda. Dearest sister of Carole (the late Bob) Hotz and the late Leland (the late Mary Lou) Salberg and the late Lorraine (the late Ralph) Baker. Dear aunt, cousin and friend to many. Betty was a dedicated employee at The Little City Foundation for approximately 25 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Chapel service Friday 2:30 pm at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. I had known BJ for many years working at Little City. She was a wonderful, caring, & considerate person. Everyone at Little City loved and adored her. She always had a smile on her face and she loved talking to people. It was fun to be around BJ and no matter what kind of day you were having, she made you laugh. She will be missed by many at Little City. My prayers and thoughts are with her family.
