Ralph Menn

I am sorry to have not known about Ralph’s passing sooner. I knew Ralph and Meta my entire life. Meta was my mothers college roommate. There was never a family function celebrated without Ralph and Meta and they will both be missed. May both of their memories be a blessing.

I knew Ralph for about 17 years and remember him fondly as a business person that knew the value of good service and a high level of integrity. Ralph will be missed in the industry but I can tell that his values have been passed on to his family and are still present in the business he built. To have those two things as a legacy is something to be cherished.

Ralph was the greatest. On the business side, he knew hardware like nobody else, he was the go to guy for things that were unusual.

On the personal side, his employees loved him. I heard many stories of Ralph helping employees in need, and being there when you needed him. I knew him for several decades, went to jobsites, owner meetings, and architect visits with him. He was always affable, generous with his time, sincere, and hardworking.

I’ll miss him greatly. My thoughts are with his family in this trying time.
