Steve Elkin, 64, beloved husband and best friend of Gisela nee Gluck for 31 wonderful years; loving and adored father of Erica; devoted son of the late Florence and Carl Elkin and son-in-law of Maria and the late Julio Gluck; dear brother of Janice (the late Larry) Lerner and brother-in-law of Rita (Boris) Kac; treasured uncle of Scott Kac, Monica Kac Aguilar and Carlie and Brad Lerner and great uncle of Jordan Aguilar; cherished cousin and friend of many. Steve also leaves behind his faithful canine companion Domino. Chapel service Wednesday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
