Marks – I will always be thankful for your friendship and support when I first came to New Orleans to teach middle school. Your fresh and honest perspective coupled with genuine love and concern for others was inspiring. I am blessed to have met your beautiful family before I relocated. I am happy for your release of pain and suffering on this Earth. May you relish in a peaceful journey forward.

May everything be as you wanted it to be. Rest in peace my friend and brother. I been reflecting on our times together. What good times we had. There were so many fun and goofy ones.all of our talk on the back porch. How we could talk about anything. They could be very deep and honest, that is a treasure for me. I will truly miss you buddy.
