Zelda Itkin nee Lifschitz, 95, of San Jose, CA and formerly of Chicago, IL; beloved wife of the late Dr. William Itkin; loving mother of Nancy Itkin and Leonard Itkin,loving mother-in-law of Pamela Baksys-Itkin; adored sister-in- law of Agnes Grabow and her husband Milton, Pauline Lifton (the wife of Zelda’s brother the late Alan Lifton), dear sister of the late Esther (the late Nathan) Karel, the late Janice (the late Nat) Shaw, the late (above referenced) Alan (Pauline) Lifton and the late Shirlee (the late Edwin) Hykan; treasured aunt, cousin and friend of many. Special friend to her baby, her cat Chocolate. Chapel service Monday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
