Barry L. Axelrod

Barry and I became friends at Northern Michigan University. We were both part of a group of NMU students and staff that worked together, studied together, and socialized together. Barry and I roomed together in our senior year. I have many memories of those years I have known Barry, all of them good ones. He will be missed.

Barry was a great friend and a great Wildcat. He was always there to serve his alma mater, Northern Michigan University. He will be missed, but remembered by all his fellow alumni who were lucky enough to know him.

I worked with Barry on his Executive Board with the Illinois Mortgage Bankers while he was President of the Association. Barry was a great person to work with. I am glad I had the opportunity to work and associate with him.

I miss my zayde very much and it is also hard to lose him when I’m only 9 years old.Even though he is not with us so we can see him,he always be here in spirit.
