Gloria Stender, nee Bransky, 89, as each loved one said their parting goodbyes and retired for the evening, Gloria slipped away peacefully having heard each story and having received each hug and kiss, beloved wife and best friend of the late Raymond; loving and devoted mother of Joel (Donna), Susie (James) Schneider, Steven (Toria), and David (Amy); cherished grandmother of Zachary (Patti), Ali (Michael), Gigi (Andrew), Mackenzie (Jen), Lindsay (Brad), Michael (Perri), Julie, Nathaniel, Madeline, Charlotte, Cody, and Jack; adored great greatmother Ava, Lila, Chase, Max, and Leo; dear sister of Bud (Zerna) Bransky, Lois (the late Marshall) Ruderman, the late Ron (Beverly), Willard (the late Carole), Marcia (Bob) Malkus, Marvin (Dru), and Buddy (Penny); Gloria Stender’s home was abuzz with family and friends, each with a story to tell and love to share. Decorated golfer, terrific friend and favorite aunt. Mom enjoyed terrific health, an active life, and lived completely independent until 2 weeks ago. She looked radiant, felt great, and danced at her grandson’s wedding 4 Saturdays ago. She will be missed by so many. Join us to celebrate her life.
