Obituary

Raymond Abramson, age 86, beloved husband and best friend of Estelle, nee Davis for 58 wonderful years; devoted and cherished father of Marla (Mike) Papantony, Karen Glaser and Gary (Tamara) Abramson; proud and loving “Pop-Pop” of Lily, Connor, Brian, Hailey and Caroline; caring son of the late Martin and Rose Abramson; admired brother of Irene (the late Sheldon) Fein, the late Melvin Abramson, Sol (Lorraine) Abramson, Sidney (Shirley) Abramson and brother-in-law of the late Marvin (the late Sandra) Davis; dear uncle, great uncle, in- law, cousin and friend of many. Ray was a proud veteran of the Korean War who supported veteran causes throughout his life. He will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256 or to the charity of your choice. Chapel service Monday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
