Obituary

Bella J. Feldmar, a long-time resident of Chicago, died Thursday, August 27, 2015 at her home. Born in 1927 in Canton, Ohio, Bella was a graduate of Lincoln High School in 1945. At the age of 19, she moved to Chicago where she became a medical technician. She worked for many years managing the offices of Dr. Allen Zimering. In 1970 she married the love of her life, Sam Feldmar who passed away in 1994. The couple were active socialites and philanthropists for many years and regulars at the Pump Room. Bella was an accomplished artist and shared the love of golf with Sam. They enjoyed many years of membership at La Costa Country Club in San Diego where they had a second home. Bella is survived by her nephew Jim Gribble of Germantown, Maryland and her nieces, Lisa Pyne of Flushing, Michigan and Suzanne Bloom of Canton, Ohio, and her loving caregiver Faith Freeman. Graveside service 10 AM Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jewish National Fund.
