Dr. Sam Kruger, 98, beloved husband of the late Gladys; devoted father of Susan Sharp, Karen Kruger and David Kruger (Riva Lewinter); adored grandpa of Sonja (Tal) Sholklapper, Roanne (Hayden) Kantor, Clare Kruger, Benjamin Kruger, Hannah Sharp, Noah Pen- Kruger, Joel Kruger, Aaron Pen-Kruger, Sophia Kruger and Elijah Pen-Kruger; proud great grandpa of Ram Yosef Sholklapper; dear brother of Sarah (the late Sam) Grossman; cherished uncle of Lisa and Marshall Grossman; treasured friend of many. Graveside service Friday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the JUF. Dr. Kruger was my Uncle Sam. I remember his sense of humor and dedication to my Aunt Gladys and his children, my cousins Susie Karen and David. I think of him often. I miss him my Aunt Gladys and wish my cousins and me had stayed in touched.
