Bernice “Bunny” Karel, age 89, nee Lending, beloved wife of the late Norman; cherished mother of Bill Schoen, Craig (Thea) Schoen and Joyce (the late Larry) Strom; caring stepmother of Lori Anderson, Pam (Junior) Garcia; proud and loving Grammy of Samantha and Monica Strom , Heather Medlock and Brittany Schoen, Andrea (Paul) Portuese, Melissa Garcia and great grandmother of Angelo and Annie; dearest sister of the late Ralph (the late Honey) Lending. Chapel service Thursday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
