Bernice “Bee” Kohn nee Gilden, 92; beloved wife for 58 years of the late Eugene L. Kohn; loving mother of Debra (Arnold) Landis, Dr. Donald Kohn (Dr. Sheryl Handler) and Kenneth (Vicki) Kohn; cherished Nana of Rebecca (Corey) Derdiger, Abigail (Jonathan) Miller, Lisa, Scott, Melanie, Corey and Joshua Kohn; devoted daughter of the late Phillip and Lena Gilden; dear sister of the late June (the late Earl) Schwartz; fond aunt of many. Bee was a lifelong member of Hadassah, Brandeis Book Club and many Jewish organizations. She held a lifelong interest in theater, opera, symphony and reading. Bee will be deeply missed by her many friends and family. Chapel service Tuesday, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
