Shirley Garel, nee Peiros, 93, beloved wife of the late William; loving mother of Joyce (David) Sacks, Norma Arango and Helene Garel-Frantzen (Tony Frantzen); cherished Bub of Paulette Forman, Jaimie (Dan) Korelitz, Joshua (Lainie) Sacks, Katie (Rafa) Baeza Vigil, John Arango, Anna (Rob) Vannice, Adam and Alex Garel-Frantzen; adored Great Bub of Maya and Gabriel Forman, Liam and Emmett Korelitz, Mila Sacks and Joaquin Baeza Vigil; devoted daughter of the late Pauline and Joseph Peiros; dear sister of Marshal (the late Estelle) Peiros; treasured aunt of Sherri, Judy, Larry and families. Shirley was a proud and dedicated special education teacher at Niles North High School for many years. She touched many lives with her caring ways and positive nature. She will be missed dearly.
