Hyman “Hy” Goldberg, 92, of Scottsdale, AZ and formerly of Chicago, IL, beloved husband of the late Bernice “Bea”; loving father of Mark (Kris Richter), Brian (Kathy Fordham) and the late Gary; cherished grandfather of Genna and Sari; adored great grandfather of Gianna and Gina; caring father-in-law of the late Johanna “Ria” Goldberg; devoted son of the late Ida and Max Goldberg; dear brother, uncle, cousin and friend of many. Chapel service Thursday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Dear Brian,
I was so sorry to hear about your dad. My condolences go out to you and Sari and your family. I was sorry I was unable to attend the funeral today. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I know you have wonderful family memories.

You know that Randy and I always enjoyed spending time with your parents when they came for visits to Greensboro. I especially liked to reminisce with them about Chicago and we always shared such fun stories.

I just wanted you to know I was thinking about you today and I will try to get in touch with you soon.
