Obituary

Jack Robert Heyden touched the world in many ways: leaving a legacy of love, generosity, compassion and kindness. Outgoing, thoughtful and friendly to everyone he met; he found great joy in the company of others. He led a beautiful life and adored his family. He will be missed every single day by many. He was a best friend and devoted husband of 39 years to Teri nee Kaufman; adoring son of the late Ruth and Roy Heyden; loving son-in-law to Sharon (and the late Leon) Kaufman, extraordinary father of Jamie (Dr. Jason) Robin and Todd (Hillary) Heyden; the most special Papa Jack to Charlie, Ryder, Liza, Blake and Hudson; fond brother to Diane (Jack) Chamberlin. Jack will be remembered always for his love of family, friends and life. Chapel service, Wednesday, July 20th, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
