Jack Cohen, 90, beloved husband of the late Ruth, nee Maraat for over 50 years & long time companion of Charlene Pachter; loving father of David (Denise), Michael (Rhonda) & Ilene Cohen; cherished grandfather of Aaron (Maria), Bradley (Monica), Zachary, Jonathan “J.P.” (Melanie), & Lucas Cohen & Laura Mraz; adored great grandfather of Grace, Emma, Joshua, Anna, Nicolas, Alexa, Adam, Alyssa & Logan; dear brother-in-law of Herb (Peg) Maraat; devoted son of the late Nathan & Bertha; treasured uncle & friend of many. Jack was a man of few words but he was always proud of his family whom he loved & cherished. Jack traveled all over the world with Ruth and loved spending time with his family. He was a WWII veteran who served in Europe in the 86th Infantry “Blackhawk Division”. Synagogue service 12:15 PM Tuesday at Beth Tikvah, 300 Hillcrest, Hoffman Estates.
