Lillian “Lia” Green, nee Kerdeman, age 90. Beloved wife of the late David Green; adored mother of William (Linda Forman), Joseph (Michelle) and Aaron (Christine); dear grandmother of Noah, Mara, Emily and Alex. Born in Vienna, Austria; escaped the Nazis via Kindertransport in 1938; graduated cum laude from De Paul University; worked for Mies van der Rohe at IIT, and for 30 years was a managing editor in the Journals Division of the University of Chicago Press.
