Brian Edward Turry

I remember Brian and his brother Jerry and sister Reada (who shared my mother’s name) through their parents, Mickey and Phil. My folks were part of the Letchinger sisters crowd who did many things together. The kids would meet up at Illinois Beach State Park for summer picnics and the beach, or at Bess and Leo’s farm. I remember Brian from visiting at his folks’ house before they moved to Skokie. And I remember Brian and Jerry and their enthusiasm for the early days of the Super Bowl. I would see Brian from time to time as his aunt Bess married my dad and there’d be family events from time to time. He was always a great guy and friendly to me when we would meet up. I hope fond memories of good times with him help his family get through these difficult times. I was sorry to hear of his struggles of the past few years and know he is now at peace even if those left behind are sorrowful. My deepest condolences, Paula Glitman

While our paths parted many years ago, we still stayed in touch through jokes and cartoons on the internet. I think back to our days at The Bison and our years at Temple Chai.
To your family- my thoughts are with you at this time and I hope you will always recall the warm and friendly smile that Brian wore (even on bad days).
