Mary T. Cielinski, nee Brandys, 90 years young, passed away peacefully Friday, March 18th at the Fountains Retirement Community of Crystal Lake. Devoted wife of the late Jerry S.; cherished mother of Sr. Patricia, O.S.B., Judi (Larry) Connolly and Michael (Debra); dearest grandmother of Alison (Farshad) Rashedi, Brian Monte, Shaun Connolly, William and Steven Cielinski and Jennifer (Jeff) Sevaldson; dear great-grandmother of Brando Monte; fond sister of the late Casimir, Pearl, Roman and Tess. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mary was a faith-filled woman; devoted to her family and the countless friends she and Jerry met through their 62-plus years of marriage. She was a loyal employee/bookkeeper for many years at Armanetti Liquors in the Cragin neighborhood. Visitation Friday, April 1st from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Mass to follow at St. Scholastica Monastery, 7430 N. Ridge Blvd., Chicago. Following Mass, please join the Cielinski family for a dinner at the Monastery. Private Interment at Maryhill Cemetery.
