Thomas Strauss

I have so many fond memories of spending time with Tom and the whole Strauss family. I was a guest in their home for many parties, bbq’s and family dinners. Tom was a wonderfully kind man with a great sense of humor. The memory I must share because it still gets Marilyn laughing to this day (over 20 years later) is when Tom got stuck in the backseat of my first car. It was a sporty 2 door, purple Saturn. I took Tom and Marilyn for a spin and it took longer for Tom to get out of the car than our joyride had taken. And as he struggled to find a way out that didn’t involve the jaws of life, Marilyn and I could not help but get into a laughing fit.

I am lucky to have been able to spend time with Tom several times in the last year. Also, I am very grateful to have been able to see him and talk with him before he passed.

My deepest sympathy to Marilyn, Brad and Jeff. I know how much you will all miss him.
