Oscar J. Wasserman, 96, beloved husband and best friend of the late Mildred nee Cleban for 64 years; loving father of Michael, Marc (Karen) and Carole (Doni) Remba; proud Papa of Brittany (Scott) Abramson, David Wasserman, Max Wasserman and Talia Remba; dear brother of Paul (the late Marilyn) and the late Phillip (the late Adeline) Wasserman; fond brother-in- law of Dolores (the late Colman) Colker and the late Greta; adored uncle and cousin of many. Former President and Chairman of the Board of Congregation K.I.N.S. Graveside service, Monday, 2 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. My aunt, Bonnie Grunewald and my mother, Rosemary Grunewald, both worked for Oscar over many years. My mother is gone, but Bonnie lives with me and I have heard her speak of Oscar fondly many times. I babysat for his kids and always found him to be a kind man who brought smiles to many. Our condolences on your loss.
