Rabbi Sam Fraint; loving and devoted husband of Deena nee Segal; adoring father of Hannah, Zeke (Laura) and Avram (Jodi); proud Zaydee of Sophia Ruth; dear brother of Eric (Kathy); treasured brother-in-law of Eric (Karen) Segal and Danny Segal (Susan Kitzen); devoted uncle of many. Beloved and respected Rabbi of Moriah Congregation and dear friend of many. Service today, 10:30 AM at Moriah Congregation, 200 Taub Drive, Deerfield. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. October 7th, 2018

I went to high school with Sam and sat next to him in several classes. Sam was always one of the brightest kids in class and I never felt I could measure up. But he was kind and sweet and generous to me. While we travelled in different circles, I had a bond with him that I won’t ever forget. We had our 50th high school reunion this weekend and his loss on this very day is bittersweet. My deepest condolences to Sam’s family and friends.
