Albert S. Hoffman, 88, beloved husband of Lucille for 67 years; loving father of Denise (Arnie) Harvey, Vickie (Joe) Hodges, Leslie (Jeff) Weiler and Karen (Steve) Balinski; cherished Papa of Frank (Shannon), Jeff (Samantha), Niecee (Jeremy), Beckie, Joey, Rachel (Lee), Jason (Amanda) and Lisa (Mike); adored great grandfather of 14. dear brother of the late Sherwyn (Beverly) Hoffman; caring uncle of Michelle Dolan. Albert proudly served his country as a Marine during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Chapel service Tuesday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 West Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association (www.lung.org).
