Judy was a great person. Fun to be with and always sharing a funny story. We enjoyed sharing social time with her and Ron, and there was never a pause in our conversations. She will be missed by family of course but also by people who had the pleasure of just knowing her.

Ron, so very sorry to hear about Judy. If it must happen, it is best to be at home surrounded by family.
I only have one memory of Judy. I only first met Judy last winter when Ron decided to give away some of his popcorn stuff. I think she was pleased to have more room in the garage.

When we first moved to St. Louis Ave in 1948, we met the Bermans who lived near the middle of the block. We kids were often at Aunt Aileen’s playing with Judy and Ron. Dr. Berman was our dentist. We went to Peterson Elementary and then Von Steuben High. We went our separate ways, but our paths occasionally crossed at High School reunions. Judy was always cheerful and friendly.
My favorite story is when she was at some military base in the South with her husband Ron. She gave her name as Judy May, but the clerk responded, “Judy May what, dear?”
She will be missed.

Although Judy (and Ron) are close friends — “Aunt Judy and Uncle Ron” to my kids — my fondest memories are on our adventures to Vietnam. Judy was always a lot of fun to travel with, and it always was obvious she really was “in the moment.” This just a of the hundreds of pictures that support these memories.
