I am at a loss for words. I know there is nothing for me to say that will make the loss of Uncle Ray easier.
My amazing grandmother Shirley Blum, would often reflect on how much she loved and adored her first born son.
Know that I am sending you my love and support.

I have many fond childhood memories of spending holidays and having backyard barbecues with my cousins, Ray, Brian and Barbara. I particularly remember Ray on crutches with his broken leg, him playing the accordion and F.U.M. (Favorite Uncle Mort). These are my only first cousins and I am sorry for losing Ray. The pandemic makes this is a difficult time to grieve and I hope knowing others will miss Ray gives you comfort.

I loved my brother and have felt an emptiness in my heart when I found out. We have not been close for many years but a long time ago we were . He used to babysit me and for many years we would be there for each other. I wish I could have the years back but life doesn’t work that way. My best to Penny because she did love him and he was extremely happy with her and her family. I just so wish things could have been different. Since I don’t know what he died from im hoping he did not suffer.
