David M. Arkin, age 82, beloved husband of Marlene Arkin (née Berholtz); loving father of Dr. Steven (Dr. Karen) Arkin, Jeffrey (Lisa) Arkin and the late Jacqueline Arkin; cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Jacob and the late Jason Arkin; devoted son of the late Harriett and Jack Arkin; adored son-in-law of the late Eva and Nate Berholtz; dear brother of the late Gerald (the late Barbara) Arkin; treasured brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many. David was an active member and past Master of Chicago Lodge # 437. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chicago Lodge #437, www.chicagolodge.org or a charity of your choice. I remember David as a very kind and sweet man. We met online on a gaming site 3 years ago. We played Bingo and Poker. I never met David, but we shared some lovely conversations online. It’s been 6 months since I last spoke to him, but I extend my deepest condolences to his family and friends.
