Jennifer Michele Koss

Jennifer Michele Koss, age 53, of Newark, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Jennifer was born December 26, 1966 in Berwyn, Illinois. Jennifer was a graduate of the University of Illinois and went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Project Management. She was an accomplished professional in her field. Jennifer enjoyed watching her children in their sporting activities.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Pruden of Newark; children, Delaney and Dylan Pruden; mother, Frieda (Horvitz) Koss of Des Plaines, Illinois; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Nadia Koss of Rothenburg, Switzerland; nephew, Max; and niece, Zoe; uncles, Erik Horvitz and Shel (Jackie) Kolner; numerous cousins on the Koss side. She is also survived by her beloved in-laws, Thomas and Linda Pruden; brother and sister-in-law Dara Naraghi and Wendy Pruden, her niece Hanna Weimerskirch; brother in-law Todd Pruden and his children, Olivia, Eve, Tessa and Scarlett Pruden.

The family will have a celebration of Jennifer’s life at a later date in Chicago. She will be laid to rest at Shalom Memorial Park in Arlington Heights, Illinois next to her father, James Koss.
