Rabbi and Mrs. Frankel were such caring, warm friends to my family and my Gramma. At Beth Hillel in the 1960s, they welcomed us, and they led us and other families to understand and to speak out for Civil Rights and to defend human dignity and justice. Their hearts were so big, their wisdom was so far-reaching. During sickness and health, they were there for us. I will always remember both of them. They will live in our hearts forever…Shalom…

How fortunate we are to have known Toby. I worked with her at Avoca schools and we were members of Am Yisrael. Toby always greeted us with a beautiful smile, a positive attitude and wise words.

Both of your parents warmly welcomed us into the synogogue and into their home.

I was one of Toby’s Jazzercise instructors. She was such a kind and upbeat person. I was always so happy when she was in class. Her zest for life was inspirational.

We all lost a good woman this week.
