Sandor Karzen

I just read about the passing of Sandy, ( of blessed memory) in the JUF News. I have great memories of him back in the day. Working in South Haven at Weinstein’s Resort, hanging out together and having the honor of Sandy standing up at my wedding. As time went by we lost touch with each other. A very common practice. My heart is very heavy today. My condolences to his family.

My memory’s of Sandor go back about 31years.I am Wendy, his stepdaughter.My sister Robbyn also.Sandy Married our Mother Linda in 1986.My memories are countless and priceless!
Most recently, I had the privilege of taking care of he and Mom full time in their home, from 2015 shortly after Sandy had a stroke,till My Mothers passing on 9/30/2020 and Sandor’s passing on 10/31/2020.
They loved Las Vegas, and their home. It was their dream to remain in their home, and not to live in a facility.Their dream was fulfilled!They were active till they each tragically,broke their hips.Sandor had numerous serious medical complications, and left us way too soon.Mom passed peacefully in home hospice at 91 yrs young.It was truly a blessing to be at her side as she crossed over.Sandor passed peacefully in Nathen Adeleson hospice ,family was allowed to visit 24/7.
All that to bring me to the memory I will always cherish.When I first met Sandy he said to me “I will take you as a daughter as if you were my own.I miss your wisdom,compassion, humor and so much more!
May the long time sun shine upon you, all love surround you and the pure light within you guide your way on.
