Ethel Sostrin

My Aunt Ethel was a wonderful Aunt to me. Whenever I would come to Chicago, she would shlep me around, saying “Hiya Ryia!!”

She loved family and everyone. When she was with you, she was totally present and looked you in the eye and beamed love.

She loved Judiasm and doing Shabbat and passing it on to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Love you so much Aunt Ethel!!

I am so shocked and saddened to hear that Ethel has passed away. We worked together for many years and were walking partners for many years as well. Ethel was a warm and fun-loving person with a big heart. I haven’t seen her in a year or two and I have missed spending time with her.
