James H. Weiss, 90, beloved husband and best friend of Davida, nee Epstein, for 62 wonderful years. Jim honored the world by living in it. He was the loving father of Debbie (Mark) Fertel and Julianne (Sanford) Prizant; cherished Papa of Isaac and Emma Fertel, Benjamin Huss, Elliot and Ethan Prizant; devoted son of the late Stella and Leon Weiss; dear brother of Barbara Jaffe; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Services are private. My deepest condolences to Davie, children and grandchildren. I had known Jim for only a short time, but sharing meals with he and Davie was the highlight of my day. Jim loved to talk about his life experiences, his travels and he and I always talked about sports. Jim will be sorely missed by all. A true gentleman . May his memory be a blessing.

While my father, Don Fradkin, has also recently passed away, I can tell you that Jim was a beloved friend of our entire family and my Dad so enjoyed his Friday lunch ritual with Jim. We are so sorry for your loss and will remember Jim well as a kind soul and an exceptional friend.
