I knew Ira when I lived in the Chicago area and had the privilege of working for him at his title company. He treated his employees fairly and with dignity. Condolences to his family.

I think I speak for the entire class of 1961 at Niles Township High School to say what a wonderful man Ira was. His participation in sports, student service organization and later helping us on the reunion committees. I know he would have wanted to join us on our 60th reunion next year but he will be there in spirit and we will remember him always.

Barbara and family,
Sending my love and wrapping my arms around you. Never will I forget my first friends in Chicago. Both of you became my mentor and invited me into your family. Ira loved you and had a twinkle in his eye whenever he looked at you, he had the best sense of humor, and always knew how to have fun. I am so sad, May his memory forever be a blessing.

Whenever I saw Ira, he had a giant smile on his face. He was always so friendly and caring, and interested in what YOU had to say. A true mensch!! And his family meant so much to him.
And Barbara-you were an incredible wife!! Always there for him in all ways. I am so sorry that this has been such a difficult time. Beth has kept me up to date -and my heart and sympathy goes out to you and your family who lived him so much!
I have known you for years. You are strong and have a loving family that I know will help you during this time. You are in my thoughts😘
