I am so sorry for your loss. I met Jaron very briefly
He allowed me to sublet his room at Chabad house for a summer. It was the best summer ever and I have such good memories of my time there. I am so appreciative that Jaron allowed me
This opportunity. I will always remember him and the family at U of I Illini Chabad!!

Dear Mrs. and Mr. Birkan and Seth,
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved son and brother. Although I was only able to know him for several months, he was truly a very nice man. We will all remember his jokes, the pastries he brought to office, his Wall Street Journal like headshot and many more. He will be deeply missed by all in the office.
With my sincerest sympathy,
Yolanda Liu

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Birkan and Seth,
Words escape me at my sorrow for your family at Jaron’s passing. I was never Jaron’s teacher, but I didn’t need to be to know the outstanding young man he was. Seth, you were in my 4th grade class at Tripp School and I will never forget you. You were an amazing student and classmate to all. Andrea, you gave me several handmade gifts that year – one was a basket for bagels, a spreader with bagels on the handle and a cozy to wrap them in. I still have this gift and think fondly of your family whenever I use it. The love and devotion you all show for the people around you pours out from the kind of family you are. I will hold you close in thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.
With my sincerest sympathy,

Jaron was a wonderful friend to have around during improv. We had all the same comedy influences and he was whip-smart and dry. Once he moved I loved keeping in touch and sharing music (another thing we had in common) and joking around from thousands of miles away. He is greatly missed.
