Debra Ann Veltman

I worked with Debbie at Giftco. She was talented and a very hard worker. She loved her dogs and spoke highly of her grandparents. I wish her eternal Peace and rest. I haven’t seen her in years and was very sorry to hear she passed on.

In my early years of joining the Herpe Family, Debbie was always warm, friendly, and welcoming. Her smile made you feel special.

I will always remember how she lovingly cared for her baby brother, Jeff.

Once when the Veltman Family was at our house for brunch, Debbie postponed eating her own meal to make Jeff eggs in a special way that she knew he liked. What a dedicated sister!

I remember my aunt Debbie I’m so many ways. I remember the stories my grandma Ilene would tell me about her art and the way she paid attention to detail. I remember eating Froot Loops in her bathtub when I would sleepover her apartment as a little girl. I remember when she had two dogs: Willy and Nelson. I remember calling her in high school when I needed an understanding friend. I remember how much my dad loved her and how much he cared for her. I hope she and my dad are hanging out together right now. May her memory be a blessing.

The first time I met Debbie, I must have been in junior high or early high school. I remember her working at a white drafting table, creating a very impressive commerical art piece – in pencil! I’ve never forgotten her amazing talent, how sweet she was, and her lovely smile. May her memory be a blessing.
