I met Shirley about 45 years ago when her sons Kenny and Jeff where in school with my daughter Darcy and son Jimmy. She was the best friend I ever had in fact she became my son’s second mother and Sheldon his second father, because Jeff and Jimmy were BFFs. If Jimmy wasn’t home I always knew where he was. I am Italian and a Catholic, but that never mattered, if fact a friend of Shirley said that was the next best thing when she invited to share some Jewish holidays with her family. I remember one time when she decided to walk to my house she tripped and fell and broke her wrist and with her great sense of humor blamed me, because she said it she didn’t come over she never would have tripped. Shirley had one of the biggest HEARTS of anyone I knew and I loved her so much and have missed her for the last years. God Bless you Shirley and I know that you are happy now being with Sheldon and of course Jeff.

I was a caregiver for Shirley and developed a bond with her. I loved sitting with her and doing her nails or just holding her hand. I will always remember her smile and kisses on my cheek. It was an honor knowing Shirley my deepest sympathies to the family

Hard to mention just one. Many many good memories. One time she came with me to buy a TV. As we were getting ready to go, Sheldon said to me, remember, you are going to buy a TV only. We came with so many things we couldn’t stop laughing to see Sheldon’s face.
