Circumstances kept Gordon and I apart for far too long. When we reunited, however, I shared a special night with him where he caught me up to speed on all things Gordon. Story after story of fantastic escapades. We laughed so hard that night and I was blessed to share in his kind, compassionate, joyful and wise spirit. Few I’ve met have shared his zest for life, passion for the arts and love of family. That night I tagged him with the moniker The Great Gordino, which of course he loved, and I want Gordino to know that he will be missed greatly by myself and all that loved him.

Papa was always very involved in his great-grandkids lives. When he came to
visit, they enjoyed reading to him, and listening to him read as well.

We were honored to have Papa present our Ketubah at our rehearsal dinner, and make a speech explaining it’s meaning and significance to our wedding party. A memory we will never forget.

Finally found a picture with Matt in it! Poppa enjoyed hearing Matt talk about work and they would bond over the Cubs. They even went to a few games together over the years.

When we came into town to visit, we always made time for Papa! One of our favorite places to go with him was Walker Bros in Highland Park. We love him and miss him dearly

A wonderful & generous man with his time & his knowledge of men’s apparel. Gordon had a unique way of explaining the subtle details of apparel construction without making you feel so uniformed.
And Gordon had a wonderful sense of humor. Always a joy to be in his presence.
Rest in peace Gordon.
